A small historical reference

Belogorsk - center Belogorsk district of the Amur region, located in the southeast region, on the left bank of the Tom River (left tributary of the river Zeya). Date of foundation and the first written mention - 1860. Previous name - Alexandrov (until 1926), Alexandrovsk-on-Tom (until 1931), Krasnopartizanskaya (until 1936), Kuybyshevkiy East (until 1957).

The city history begins with the founding of the village Aleksandrovskoe migrants from Perm and Vyatka provinces. In 1926, the merger of the village and the railway station Alexandrov Bochkareva formed town Aleksandrovsk.

Date of foundation: 1860. Town status - 1926.
