A small historical reference

Adygeysk - a city of the Republic of Adygea, located in the northwest of the country, on the southern bank of the river Kuban Krasnodar Reservoir. Date of establishment - 1969. Previous name - Adygeya (until 1976), Teuchezhsky (until 1992). The city history begins with the founding of the camp for the displaced people of their villages and farms that came under flooding due to the formation of the Krasnodar Reservoir.
