Mezhgore - closed city in Beloretskiy district of the Republic Bashkortostan, located at the foot of the mountain Yamantau on the territory of the South Ural Nature Reserve. Date of establishment - 1979. Previous name - Coos Elga, Kuzelga, Ufa-105, Sunny, Beloretsk-16. The city history begins with two settlements - village Kuzelga and village Tatly. On the territory of settlements were built South-west micro-districts of the town (village Tatly / Beloretsk-15) and the Central micro-district (village Solar - formerly Kuzelga / Beloretsk-16).

Enterprises of city - Ural Mining and Processing Plant, crushing and screening plant, FSUE construction administration-30. Data on the security classification of the town contradictory - "Forbes" wrote that there is an underground command center in the event of nuclear war "Perimeter" (NATO classification "dead hand"); "The New York Times" - that is underground storage of nuclear waste, etc.
