Yarovoye - a city in the Altai Territory, located in the west of the region, on the border with the Republic of Kazakhstan, on the lake Big Yarovoye. Date of foundation and the first written mention - 1943. The city history begins with the evacuation in Slavgorod Perekop Bromine Plant, which became the basis of the Slavgorod chemical plant and the construction of the village chemists - future city Yarovoye.
