Zhatay - urban-type settlement in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), located in the central part of the republic, on the left bank of the Lena River, 15 km north of the capital of the republic - the city of Yakutsk.

The basis of the economy of the village - ship repair and shipbuilding plant (the largest in Yakutia) and Yakutian tank farm.
